Meaningful Storytelling Exceeds Expectations
NAMI Austin, the local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, launched a new website and name change to NAMI Central Texas to more accurately reflect their health education, support, and advocacy programs that impact the lives of more than 21,000 people in the Austin Metro and surrounding counties. They hired Bloom Communications to earn third-party visibility for the organization and help change the mental health conversation through purposeful storytelling. Leveraging earned media in target markets and elevating NAMI Central Texas as a leading authority in addressing the region’s mental health needs, Bloom identified creative and authentic story angles for local and regional media. Secured coverage highlighted diverse shares of voice within the organization, as well as local events and support during Mental Health Awareness Month.
