Creating Buzz for Bite Away
Leveraging digital marketing, public relations, and creative services, Bloom developed and executed an integrated campaign approach to ensure a successful nationwide launch for electronic medical device Bite Away® on behalf of MibeTec, a leading medical device company for local thermotherapy based in Berlin, Germany (subsidiary of publicly-traded Dermapharm Holding SE), expanding the company’s international footprint and bringing its first FDA cleared medical device to U.S. consumers.
The initial strategy for Bite Away, which provides instant relief for insect bites and stings, focused heavily on event marketing at the annual SXSW festival in Austin, TX. As COVID-19 forced shutdowns, Bloom pivoted its strategy, reallocating focus on digital communications. The updated, integrated approach included influencer marketing, online advertising, targeted direct mail, partnerships with local and national brand-aligned organizations for cause marketing efforts, social media marketing, proactive media outreach, and more.
