Are You Ready?

Elevate Your Mission, Engage Audiences, and Motivate Action

Nonprofits are tasked with driving maximum impact while stewarding limited resources— both budget and team—to make it happen. This requires well-defined and intentional marketing efforts to effectively reach the right audiences at the right time with the right message.

Our Marketing Playbook serves as your comprehensive roadmap for guiding brand, donor, and programmatic communication efforts; it is designed to be refreshed and revitalized annually, ensuring it remains relevant and effective for multiple years and aligns with your nonprofit’s strategic plan cycle.

In a world where every message and touchpoint counts, our Marketing Playbook will be the catalyst for elevating your mission, engaging your audiences more deeply, and motivating them to action more effectively.

The Marketing Playbook Includes:

  • Key audience personas & messaging considerations
  • Define channels and tactics for each audience
  • Creative campaign ideas to engage your audiences
  • Detailed plan and calendar with defined responsibilities
  • Performance measurement and the connection to organizational objectives

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Marketing Playbook creation process look like?

Our process begins with a deep dive into your nonprofit’s goals and objectives, a review of your current and past marketing activities, and discussions with key stakeholders within your organization. We’ll work with you to develop (or review and revise) personas for your key audience segments and the messaging you’re using to reach them. From there, we’ll get to work on developing a strategy and plan–including key channels, tactics, and campaign ideas–to effectively reach and engage your target audiences and motivate them to action.

We have a marketing strategy & plan from a few years back…Is that a good starting point?

It can be helpful for us to review a former marketing strategy and plan to understand the marketing efforts your nonprofit has employed in the past. Often, we find that previous strategies lack sufficient detail, or that marketing efforts are no longer relevant to the organization’s current goals. All of these insights are great inputs for a new, refreshed Marketing Playbook that is tied to the organization’s current strategic plan and objectives.

How long does developing the Marketing Playbook take?

The timeline for the development of a Marketing Playbook is dependent on several factors, including the size of an organization and the scope of the audiences we’re trying to reach. On average, the process takes 4-8 weeks to complete.
