Advancing Mission Fulfillment with the Google Ad Grant

Goodwill Central Texas faced the challenge of increasing awareness and lead generation across its diverse mission programs and services—from its career certification courses to its staffing agency and workforce development services. 

As a 501(c)(3), Goodwill was eligible for Google’s Ad Grant program but had not taken advantage of the free advertising dollars to boost online visibility, increase web traffic to mission-related landing pages (GCTA, WFA, Fatherhood Works, and more), and connect with key audiences across Central Texas.

To support Goodwill Central Texas’ mission, we designed and deployed Google Search campaigns promoting the organization’s key lines of business, programs, and services, tracking unique and meaningful conversion points for each. Through continuous performance analysis and optimization, Goodwill quickly benefitted from thousands of dollars in free advertising each month resulting in a significant boost in web traffic, user engagement, and leads across all of its campaigns. Goodwill’s campaigns generate hundreds of new website visitors and conversions each month, contributing to its mission fulfillment goals of transforming lives through the power of education and work. 

By establishing relationships with each of the mission-related teams and keeping in close contact, we were able to optimize and maximize efforts to further each business unit’s goals. With monthly reporting, we pivot as necessary to stay on track.
