Rebecca lives in College Station, Texas, with her family on a nine-acre property filled with animals and plenty of sunshine. She and her husband have four young-adult children and two grandchildren they adore. Thanks to the beauty of remote work, Rebecca enjoys traveling to visit loved ones while keeping her work moving with ease.

Lauren Schmidt brings 17 years of business ownership and a strong background in hospitality to her work as a Business Strategist with Your Biz Rules. She has led both service-based and product-based companies and is passionate about client experience, leadership development, and building efficient processes that make work better for both teams and clients.

Lauren has built and led cross-functional teams, strengthened relationships, and improved results at every level of business. She has also served in several industry leadership roles and earned recognition for event design and community impact. Her ability to blend strategic thinking with people-centered leadership makes her a steady and supportive partner for the clients she serves.

Originally from out of state, Lauren got to Texas as fast as she could. She is married to her college sweetheart, Brandon, and together they are raising two boys, Landon and Hudson. Much of her free time is spent at ballparks, football fields, and gymnasiums, cheering them on. Lauren brings that same dedication, energy, and heart into the work she does with our team and clients every day.

Leslie Hassler brings more than 30 years of experience as a business strategist, fractional C-suite executive, and facilitator to her work as Founder of Your Biz Rules.

Throughout her career, she has worked directly inside organizations large and small — from national franchise groups to municipal governments to Fortune 500 teams — stepping in as hands-on leadership to help them build the strategy, structure, and accountability needed to grow without burning out their people in the process. Having served as both an operating executive and outside strategist, Leslie understands firsthand the pressure business leaders face balancing growth, cash flow, team capacity, and their own bandwidth.

As a facilitator and strategist, Leslie helps leadership teams get clear on priorities, tighten decision-making, and build the operational systems that let a business scale predictably. That includes standing up the project and workflow infrastructure — like Monday.com — that gives a growing team a single source of truth for who owns what and when it’s due, so alignment reached in a planning session doesn’t fall apart the following week. As a leadership facilitator and consultant, Jamie helps organizations strengthen leadership effectiveness, improve collaboration, and create clarity around vision, priorities, decision-making, and execution.
