AUSTIN, TEXAS (March 1, 2017) — Bloom Communications, an integrated communications agency specializing in marketing, public relations, and research-based consulting, announced that Kursten Mitchell has joined its team as Managing Director, working from the Austin, Texas office.

Mitchell’s extensive background includes nearly two decades of digital marketing and communications supporting an array of organizations from Fortune 500 brands to nonprofits and startups. Having led a breadth of public relations, digital and social programs executed by industry-leading companies, Mitchell has a proven track record of developing and implementing strategic communications plans and activations leveraging her expertise across research design, interactive marketing, content marketing, and social media.

Mitchell graduated from Texas A&M with a Masters of Arts in communication after receiving her BA from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. She has a passion for helping organizations identify their consumers’ unique needs and designing differentiated, impactful communications programs that serve those needs.
