“I have worked with Bloom Communications on a myriad of projects over the last few years. No matter the subject or timeline, Brianna McKinney and her talented team have consistently performed at a high level while maintaining a personal touch. One of the attributes that keeps me coming back to Bloom is the willingness to “bend to the will of the project”. By that, I mean they are willing to adjust to what they learn in research – even when that means changing the course of project execution. They do this, in my experience, not because of a desire to add billable hours (they haven’t) but rather because doing so produces results that are beneficial to and actionable for their client’s business. There are so many public relations/communications firms that want to just “get in” and “get out”, always keeping one eye on their contracted budget instead of investing themselves wholly in what’s best for your organization. Bloom can maintain this focus on and dedication to the client, in my opinion, because they do an excellent job on the front end with budget estimates and planning. It seems to me that this attention to detail is a direct offshoot of their excellence in audience and customer research; in this case, the first audience in you, the client. I’ve always felt I could trust the results of Bloom’s work, in large part, because of the care the team took with me at the beginning, getting to the heart of what I really needed (even when I wasn’t sure myself).”

“I have hired Bloom Communications to direct and manage PR initiatives multiple times throughout my 15+ years in marketing. The team truly abides by their core values and approaches client relationships as a partner, not a vendor. What I value the most is that Brianna and her team also bring marketing expertise — giving you a big picture of communications and what will work best for your brand — rather than writing a few press releases and hoping for impact. They also pride themselves in driving clients toward activities that they have seen yield results, as opposed to sitting back and waiting for direction. Strategy, dedication, commitment and the ability to get results is truly their mantra.”

“The Bloom Communications team became part of our company. That is how all of us who interacted with them felt. Their professional yet personable way of communicating with us was greatly appreciated. Their knowledge and creative ideas were also impressive. Equally important was the timely compilation of the work from their end. Additionally, the photographs Brianna took are very professional and do great justice to our team and the work.”

“I can’t say enough about my experience with Bloom Communications. Last fall, I launched my own video production company, Heartprint Productions. I knew I wanted a strong brand with cohesive messaging, but I didn’t know where to start. From my first meeting with Bloom to the day I launched Heartprint, I felt understood. The messaging they created is meaningful and compelling, and I’ve received a lot of positive feedback about the content on my website. I am really proud of what we have created together.”

“JDRF Austin engaged Bloom to support our local communications efforts around the JDRF’s Children’s Congress – a national event in which child delegates from across the U.S. join representatives in Washington D.C. to advocate for Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) research funding. Our goal was to raise local awareness of Children’s Congress and of JDRF Austin in general, and to establish relationships with local media contacts that we can leverage ongoing.

Due to our budget constraints, Bloom was tasked with creating a communications plan that JDRF staff could execute in-house. And they did a phenomenal job. Providing us with a segmented media list, detailed media pitches, and guidelines on when and how to pitch, along with a week-by-week social media plan, our in-house team was able to execute the plan, leading not only to media coverage around the event, but also to establishing new media relationships that we leverage to promote our signature annual One Walk event. We had 600 more participants than the previous year, so obviously, Bloom knows what they’re doing.

Throughout our work together, Bloom has demonstrated an interest in our mission and a commitment to driving our success. Bloom understands how to work with nonprofits and is strategic in scoping work that drives results.”

“I believe there is great benefit in working with a boutique agency whose core values similarly align with those of our organization.  We are proud of our partnership with Bloom and the open communication and collaboration that has come as a result. The team’s dedication and service to Meals on Wheels People is commendable.”

“Bloom was TCJC’s first-ever communications support, and they came on board at a very hectic time – the beginning of Texas’ 2017 Legislative Session. Our advocacy goal is to create transformative change in Texas’ criminal and juvenile justice systems so fewer people are incarcerated and more people get the help they need in the community to address underlying behaviors. While this is a huge effort, Bloom enthusiastically hit the ground running, creating policy messages and pitches, managing our social media channels, seeking out media opportunities and coordinating responses to interview requests, collaborating with our advocate partners’ communications teams, and other critical assistance. This helped TCJC move the ball forward with our advocacy work, freeing us up to focus on our fight at the Capitol. We would recommend Bloom to others seeking an eager, friendly, flexible communications firm!”

“The Bloom team took an evolving initiative that required a great degree of nuance and sensitivity and created digestible, thoughtful messages that rang true with each of our diverse audiences. The messaging documentation they provided has been a North Star to guide much of Stronger Austin’s development and has fueled the initiative’s rapid growth and success.”

“The insights Bloom delivered with this project have been invaluable and have fundamentally changed how we design and implement our communications projects. We now have a much greater understanding of who our audience is, how they get their information about PBOT and how we should communicate with them about what we do and how it benefits them.”

“Bloom is awesome! They are creative, responsive, and strive to be accurate. Church standards are generally higher for PR than that of secular business. We strive to be open, transparent, and consistent to our mission. Bloom hit the mark and assisted us in our ownership of Block 87 throughout the years and we are thankful and appreciative of their professionalism. Definitely one of the best PR firms in Austin.”

“The Bloom Communications team, through quantitative and qualitative research, helped us understand what we didn’t know and gave us a pathway to learn about the needs of the community and how Saturday Academy could better serve those needs. Bloom then created an actionable marketing and communications plan that fit our capabilities and our mission.”
