Veteran news anchor-turned novelist Olga Campos Benz approached Bloom Communications to secure media reviews and coverage of the author’s first book, “It’s News to Me,” with the aim of increasing book sales and overall visibility.
Bloom Communications’ strategy included leveraging Olga Campos Benz’s experience in the media industry and transition to her inaugural work of fiction as a native Texan and Latina, targeting national, statewide and regional media to highlight the release of “It’s News to Me.”
“It’s News to Me” was featured in 14 publications spanning broadcast, print and online mediums both locally and nationally, boosting book sales and awareness. In addition, Olga was a featured speaker the Texas Book Festival. Key coverage of the debut book included KXAN, Shuffle Online, Latinix, A Literary Feast, the Austin-American Statesman and Good Day Austin among others.
